Winter Events

We organise a series of seasonally based events throughout the year, which aim to showcase the best of what Dumfries and Galloway has to offer.

Using the ‘Event’ links at the side of the page you will be able to see what we have planned for 14th February to 19th February and we will continue to update events during our seasonal showcase periods.

We have been working with colleagues on our ‘Local Biodiversity Action Plan’ group who put together an annual series of spring based throughtheir initiative ‘Dumfries and Galloway Wildlife Festival’. It reflects and complements the Wild Seasons approach to showcasing the fantastic natural resources and can be found at www.wildlifefestival.org.uk/

The events offer a wide range of opportunities for all ages and abilities so there should be something to help you perhaps to learn more and certainly to have a closer experience with the fabulous wildlife we have here.
